Yes, it has been a very long time since I posted.
I went to Italy, came back, (cried a little), and have been super busy ever since I came back!
Not to rub it in your face or anything, but here are some highlights (food and non-food related) from my glorious trip to Italy.
Our tour group - 35 people but some of us are missing. Really great bunch!

Classic Margherita pizza in Venice. Simplicity at its finest.
Best gelato ever……. Ricotta and Pear flavour was heavenly. Definitely should have gotten 3 scoops :(
Ravello. A small trip from Amalfi Coast that is definitely worth it. Very small, remote, quiet but beautiful town. Great place to read a book and enjoy a cappuccino away from the tourists.
No idea what this is called, but I’m calling it “Pizza Wrap.” Pizza dough “tortilla” with arugala, salami, some kind of cheese, and tomato sauce. Great lunch on-the-go.
Capri. My #1 place in Italy!!!
We went to a lemon grove in Sorrento. The size of genetically modified oranges but they’re not genetically modified at all!
Positano …. Postcard picture destination. #2 favourite place in Italy!
First pizza in Italy - Caprese pizza in Rome. No pizza sauce, just the basic, freshest ingredients.
Biscotti di Prato dipped in Van Santo wine aka almond biscotti dipped in dessert wine :)
