Recently, I made a summer book list because I realized I haven’t read a book since Harry Potter. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with that, but it’s time to hit the books! (in the non school way). So far I have:
1. The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery
2. Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult
3. Waterland by Graham Swift
4. Secret Daughter by Shilpi Somaya Gowda
I know it’s looking quite short, but that’s the point, so I don’t feel bad leaving a huge incomplete list by the end of the summer! If you have any recommendations, please let me know!
Anyways, as this is a food blog, I had the great idea to make a 2011 Summer Recipe List. I spend so much time just looking at pretty food so I figured I might as well compile a list of foods I actually want to make and make all those hours somewhat productive!
Now there are many variations that I want to make but the one I really want to make is Pumpkin Granola

2. Black Bean Veggie Burgers (Danica will be proud)

3. Homemade Soft Pretzel Bites

4. Healthy Baked Chicken Nuggets



I’ll let you know how this journey goes and how successful it is. Also looking for light, summer dinners with produce in season so let me know if you have any ideas :)
